Feature photos tend to be little 'slices of life' as we've been taught during the Fast Track portion of the Photojournalism program at Loyalist College over the past 6 weeks. Finding these 'little slices' is harder than one might expect. It involves being able to haul camera gear wherever you go. Since I've gotten here its pretty much become standard practice. Carrying the gear was kind of annoying and cumbersome at the beginning but after about a week I've gotten adjusted to it and have photos that prove having your gear with you at the right time results in photos. No doubt there have been days where I bring all my gear to and from class and school without firing a single frame.. better than being frustrated over the shot you missed no?
